Unsaturated omega-3 fatty acids

These are healthy sources of fat in the form of good fatty acids that support important body functions. They are essential for the dog and strengthen the brain, eyes and nerves. Sources of omega-3 fatty acids include vegetable oils such as linseed, rapeseed and olives, as well as algae and certain sea fish. However, only vegetable oils offer a sustainable and future-oriented alternative. In addition, omega-6 fatty acids predominate in most animal fats, sunflowers and corn. While omega-3 fatty acids are beneficial to health, omega-6 fatty acids harm the body if consumed in excess.
